I began my humble beginnings in the early 70's in Chicago. I was the daughter of two loving and very traditional parents. Anna a home-maker and Lou a blue-collar handyman.  I recall always having a penchant for the logical. My dada and I got along great. No emotional outburst. No time to waste. Get the job done. That was our philosophy. It seemed like I could always solve the problem. Find the best answer. Locate the quickest route. That's why mathematics and I took to each other like best friends! Yes-- I initially was on the road to being the world's best mathematician. Then I went to high school and realized there was so much more to explore.

I did well in school but seemed to gravitate towards the "why" in questions. I drove my parents crazy with all my "why's" but fortunately they were very patient people. I loved to get the data, get to the root of the problem, fix it and move on. Period.  I sort of lost that as I got to senior year. I suppose that's normal since suddenly you are starting to make decisions on what college you want to go to and what career you might be interested in.  I remember thinking, "I'll ask my counselor what to do and she'll help me!" Yeah.  I went in and started asking her questions. In the rush to get through meeting with the entire senior class individually she blurted out to me, "Figure out what you want to do, and I'll sign it!" Big help. Thanks.

Looking back she was a big help. Her words were exactly on target. Each one of us needs to "Figure out what we want to do and then get on to doing it."  No one can make that decision for us. And more often than not, we're the ones who know the answer for our lives anyway. I mean, who knows 'you' better than 'you'?

So that brings me to the career of an Inspirational Coach. I meet with people and hone in on what it is that they want to do. Anya has been an Inspirational Coach for over three years now.
